Frequently Asked Questions

Why do couples struggle after having a baby?

Becoming parents is one of the biggest transitions a couple can face. Sleep deprivation, new responsibilities, changing roles, and a major shift in identity can all take a toll on the relationship (especially when there’s little time or energy left for each other).

Why am I so angry at my husband after having a baby?

Anger after having a baby is more common than people talk about. You might be carrying physical exhaustion, mental load, or resentment about unequal responsibilities. Our program helps couples unpack these feelings with care and find a way forward as a team.

Why do I feel disconnected from my partner after having a baby?

Parenthood often shifts the focus from being partners to being co-parents. Many couples lose touch with their shared rituals, intimacy, and sense of friendship. In therapy, we help you reconnect with each other—not just as parents, but as whole people.

How can we keep our relationship healthy after having a baby?

It starts with intentional time to connect, open communication, shared values, and realistic expectations. Our program gives you practical tools and guided support to maintain closeness and grow stronger together during this demanding season.

Can we join this while pregnant?

Yes. Expecting parents are encouraged to join. This is a wonderful time to prepare for the changes ahead and start building a strong foundation.

Family Harmony

What if we need more than 6 sessions?

You can absolutely continue beyond the six sessions. Many couples choose to stay longer to deepen their growth or address specific challenges as they arise.

What if my partner is unsure about therapy?

That’s completely normal. The first session is a gentle starting point. There’s no pressure or unwanted sharing. It’s a chance to meet, ask questions, and get a feel for what the process is like.

Is this therapy or a workshop?

This is therapy. Each session is personalized to your relationship and what you're currently navigating, whether you join privately or in the group format.

What’s included in the booklet?

The booklet includes simple, practical tools: exercises on appreciation, roles, values, chore balance, communication, and conflict repair. It’s designed to help you reflect, reconnect, and take what you’ve learned into daily life.

Are you accepting new couples for this program?

Yes. We welcome both new and expecting parents who want to reconnect and strengthen their relationship. Private sessions and online group spots are available.
